George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic have had 13 Top 10 R&B hits, including
six #1 hits. Their classics such as "Flashlight," "Atomic Dog," "One Nation
Under a Groove," "Give Up The Funk (Tear The Roof Off The Sucker)"
(Parliament) "(Not Just) Knee Deep," "Get Off Your Ass and Jam" and "Aqua
Boogie" have been covered and sampled by so many rockers, rappers and turntable
scratchers that they're like new tunes today. George Clinton, the legendary and
internationally renowned grandfather of funk, grew up in Plainfield, NJ, and founded

from Sly Stone, El DeBarge, Red Hot Chili Peppers, RZA, Carlos Santana and
more. George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic were inducted into the Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

THE OHIO PLAYERS
The Ohio Players came into musical prominence
in the 1970s as pioneers of street funk and underground
R&B. They had three consecutive platinum
albums, Skin Tight, Fire, and Honey, two #1
singles on the Billboard pop charts with "Fire" and
"Love Rollercoaster" and five #1 R&B singles:
"Funky Worm,""Fire,""Sweet Sticky Thing,"
"Love Rollercoaster" and "Who'd She Coo."
The band consists of 10 members, four of

whom are original members: James "Diamond" Williams (drums), Billy Beck (keyboard),
Clarence Willis (lead guitar) and Robert Kuumba (percussion). The group's
