Musiq Soulchild made a blockbuster debut with 2000's Aijuswanaseing. The album
sold more than 1 million copies, and Musiq was honored with four Billboard Music
Awards including "Best New Artist" and "Top R&B Artist," a Soul Train Music
Award and an ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Award. Musiq's second album, Juslisen,
entered the Billboard 200 and R&B charts at #1. The collection was soon certified
RIAA platinum and again earned many prestigious awards. Soulstar, Musiq's third
album, won a Soul Train Award, and his Luvanmusiq album featured the #1 smash
"Teachme." 2008's OnMyRadio reached the #1 spot on Billboard's R&B chart and
had 3 smash singles, "sobeautiful," "IfULeave (feat. Mary J. Blige)" and "Chocolate
High (feat. India.Arie)." Musiq has also received Grammy Awards, American Music
Awards, The Source Awards, BET Awards, NAACP Awards and MTV Video Music

with The Roots and Carlos Santana, contributed
songs to Tyler Perry film soundtracks and played himself on TV shows
including The Game, Soul Food, and As The World Turns. His sixth studio album will
be out in 2010.

CHRISETTE MICHELE
Sultry-voiced singer Chrisette Michele was nominated for a
BET Award for Best New Artist as well as two Grammys for
her gold-certified debut I Am, winning a Grammy for Best
Urban/Alternative Performance for her song "Be OK." She
has also been nominated for a NAACP Image Award, a Soul
Train Award and and Urban Music Award. Described as a
"soulful songbird" by Entertainment Weekly, the Long Island
native proved to the world that she could live up to the hype.
Her second album, Epiphany, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Michele
guest starred as herself on an episode of The CW's Girlfriends, and has been featured
on tracks by Jay-Z, The Game, Nas, Ghostface Killah and The Roots.
